City Waterfront District
January - February 2006
I
actually started building this at the end of last year. I had
everything constructed by the beginning of January, it only took a
week. Painting was slow however, mainly because it's boring doing the
buildings and I use household paint for most of it so it's smelly and
it takes ages to dry.
Never
mind, it's all done now, everything was finished on February 4th. I've
started making some cargo containers, seaboxes, from free nets* I
downloaded, I should end up with about 15. I've also made some nets in
Paintshop for gift-wrapped crates complete with ribbon and bows for the
Clown warehouse which will give me about 20 of varying sizes.
I'm
hoping to get some figures painted up for the photos, I've started on
some Killer Clowns, Jack Burton and friends and a couple of Yoyodyne
Lectoids. Doc Savage, Fu Manchu and their various followers have been
ordered from Pulp Figures as
have the arctic adventurers for the Starkweather/Moore warehouse. I've
already painted some penguins and I have a few large, glass ice cubes
for this one as well.
Once everything is done it'll be full steam ahead for some games of .45 Adventure which is a skirmish game published by Rattrap Productions
With the addition of the waterfront section the standard city map looks like this:
