Yahoo Groups Groups I belong to.
Colonial Wars A mailing list devoted to Colonial
Wargaming and warfare in the 1800's. Suggestions for sources, terrain
making methods, miniatures, and rules will be common, as will
discussions of games played and scenarios..
Kabbalah Concepts This group was created as a formal forum for the teaching and
dissemination of the concepts of Kabbalah (Qabalah or Cabala) and
related practical workings (such as ritual magic and theurgy). We
advance comparative studies between Kabbalah and other mystical
approaches (such as gnosticism and mysticism in general).
Since this forum is dedicated to the more serious study of Kabbalistic
principles, casual conversation is not advised. Interaction related to
the subject matter at hand is encouraged and invited, and so is the
offer of good advice and other suggestions members may have.
Crossfire-WWII Crossfire is a set of innovative Wargaming Rules that delivers
high-intensity action for miniatures gamers without the inconvenience
of rulers or fixed turns. They are one of the first rule sets to use a
genuine "variable length bound" that is not artificially contrived.
This means there is no set amount of activity that can occur in a
players “turn”, nor is there any limit on how often a player can “have
a turn”. The result reproduces real life experiences and greatly adds
to the ‘fog of war’ effect.
Software Here are links to some programs that I find invaluable and/or fun.
DVD Profiler This is the program I use to catalogue my dvd collection and host it on the Internet.
Key Note I use this tabbed notbook everyday.
The author has just decided to stop updating it but this shouldn't be a
problem as it works very well. Get it whilst you can.
HarvEX A sniping program for E-Bay, make sure you win the auctions you want to. Incredimail My email program of choice. Apart from the graphic capabilities it is the most user friendly interface I've found.
Alpha Clock This is a little clock that stays on top of everything, invaluable for keeping track of time whilst playing online games.
Celestia A 3D solar system (and beyond) that you can explore. Many add-ons available too.
Pure Text A little program that removes formatting from clipboard text.
Audio Grabber Rip cds to your hard drive as mp3 files.
Roboform Automatic form filler and password manager.
