Doctor Who
March - April 2006
Because I need to feel I've got something done before too much of the
year goes by I've decided to get on with my Doctor Who project that I
bought the figures for last year. The basic premis is for a game where
U.N.I.T take on various alien invaders. The first alien menace will of
course be the Daleks. Once these are done I'll start assembling some
other forces to test the mettle of Earth's stalwart defenders. I have
SPUGS, Hydrissians and Greys lined up.
U.N.I.T
will be aided by the Doctor, the third Doctor as played by Jon Pertwee
is my favourite and he's the perfect Doctor to team up with the
Brigadier and defend the Earth, he's done it so many times before.
I will be using TAG modern British soldiers for the U.N.I.T troops with the Doctor and the Brigadier from Black Tree Design Davros and the Daleks are also BTD figures. I'm hoping Ainsty will have their resin TARDIS back in production soon, it's promised for SALUTE, but just in case I have a very tricky looking brass kit of a Police call box from Langley Models
scenery will be my city setting mainly with a bit of English countryside thrown in from time to time. I haven't decided on rules, I'll probably write my own but I do have a set of the Black Tree Doctor Who rules so I may as well give them a go too.
