In order to post photos in your messages you need to click on the photo icon next to the smiley face in the toolbar above.

A dialogue box will open into which you paste the URL of the photo. You can get the photo URL either by (in Firefox) right clicking the photo and choosing 'copy picture location' or (in IE) right clicking the photo and selecting 'properties'. The URL is displayed on the properties tag.
