Gosh, changes galore... I'm painting up some Scotia Grendel Talos robots and some Copplestone and eM-4 terminator style robots for my Machine Menace faction for the Future War project. These should be done and dusted by now but back and leg pain is making it a slow process. Oh well... I've started on the Saucer People painting, cows first then on to the Hillbillies and the Little Green Men. Once they're done there will be a pause on this until I feel like making the farm house. I need to clear my painting tabe to make stuff so I don't know when that will be. I've finished most of the plans for Entebbe so more of this should appear soon, again, painting needs to be finished first before I have room to work on it. The Britannia Smbas arrive a little while ago so I want to progress with this sooner rather than later. I've just ordered my Twilight figures so expect movement on this in the near future. Surprisingly I've just ordered a load of Napoleonic figures as well. This came as a bit of a shock, but, there you go... Sharpe games before the end of the year I hope.

19.06.09 The robots are all painted and are just waiting for the bases to be done before I take photos. 6 bases of big Talos units and 12 bases of Terminator style robots. I added the 10 Terminators that I did in 2006 into the mix and they will be multi-based along with the new ones. Later on I'll make some industrial scenery to go with them. My provisional idea for the robots is that their planet is a single immense (but mostly dormant) factory. The chemical plant scenery will represent where the machinery breaks through to the surface and allow the robots to interact with the production facilities underground. The robots will 'evolve'; the robot player will be allowed to sacrifice 2 Terminator stands at a factory point to build a single Talos stand which he can then deploy from any factory scenery area thus creating all sorts of problems for his opponents. If I can find some suitable figures I would like to have the Talos stands evolve into something even bigger too I've finished the cows for my Saucer People Project and I've started on the Hillbillies. More aliens arrived today from Black Cat Bases, I've added some tentacled things to the Saucer Men's armoury. My first Napoleonics have arrived from Front Rank, Britannia and Chiltern, I'm very excited about this project and have just put in another Front Rank order. I have a Perry order waiting for payday as well. I should end up with around 80 figures all told, not too many but easily enough for a 4-6 player game using the old Wargames Factory rules. I'm beginning to have pangs about adding to my Boxer rebellion set too. Here's what rekindled my Napoleonics interest (along with a conversation with an old friend):
