I'd really like to figure out how to do this, but don't really know where to start. Mostly it's for a model of the USS Missouri, but I have a lot of other things that I wan to apply the theory to, like tar pits, lava fields, and pools of toxic sludge. In particular, there's a company called "Scene-a-Rama" (www.sceenearama.com) that's coming out with starter's diorama kits, but their substances in their water pack have remarkably vague names in order to force you to buy the refill pack. I haven't invested in any of their stuff yet (and doubt that I will), but I'd rather know what the general consensus is on how to do it without shiny overpriced kits. | |

Hi,
Well I don't know about plastic water... I personaly use PVA and shiny varsish for my water effects but I have seen resin effects that are fantastic. I would recomend having a poke around on http://www.terragenesis.co.uk/ . You will probably find an answer to your question.
