Hi  !!!

I wanted to share my necrons with you all, but I allso wanted Matakishi to see what a great site this is for insperation.

Whilst brousing the site a while back I fell across some pictures of necron style figures (made by Alessandro Conti) made of only scrap bits, mainly screws, nuts, etc... At the time I was about to start  a 4Ok Space Marine force so I could play with a friends son. But when I saw them my ''inner-converter'' just had to have a go, plus it would be a hell of a lot cheaper than GW models !

For those who do not know of this article here is a link:

http://www.matakishi.com/necrons.htm

So here is my 1000-1500pts necron force:

In detail:

Worriors

Wraiths

Tomb Spiders

Scarabs

Immortals+Flayd one

My main idea was to make the units easely recognisable, this ment keeping them simple. Necrons are pretty standedised and fairly simple in apearance making it easy to mass produce them. I allso wanted them to look, well, like a load of nuts and bolts, so I tried doubly hard to make them realy realy simple so as to make every component obvious.

Plus aparently nut and bolt based necrons rock! Cause I've only played 5 games with them but won them all !

On a lighter note, please excuse my spelling, I have never studied english.... :)

Fantastic! I'll have to give this a try. I'm especially fond of the scarabs.

What are the long pieces you used on the tomb spiders?

Thanks for the feedback !

I think the ''long bit'' you speek of is a wall plug:

All I have done is use a metal wall plug flanked by two planstic ones (like the one obove) with the little ''wings'' cut off.

Good luck when you give it a go ! I know I had a lot of fun making them ;)
