You recommend cork for a lot of model-making projects.  Do you not find it difficult to get hold of cork these days?  My local DIY shops have stopped stocking it.

Yes, finding cork in local shops is a pain these days. I buy in bulk from Siesta Cork.

Lovely building, the interior grills are particularly effective.

You use the unsealed domestic density tiles right?

I tried to get untreated cork tiles, but all Wickes get now is the treated one's, It's ok though treated one's work well, I just lightly sanded the treated side in places where I wanted to glue.

The interior cell bars, if you were wondering are made from plastic canvas grade 7 normally used for tapestry I think? all the doors open and close by the way.

Here is a photo of materials used, you can see the plastic canvas there.

I am in the US, and I buy my cork from Wal-Mart, Staples and Lowe's.

It is a package of four cork tiles, each 30cm x 30cm x 5mm, for ~$5.50USD.

It is a bulletin board kit.
