Finally got my hands on the "Hammers slammers the Crucible" by Pireme publishing, brilliant book and modeling guide.

They allowed me to pay by cheque which i thought was brilliant, got it all for £29.45 and received it in 3 days. Will read through the rules, but i just wanted the book to be honest:).

Next book i want is the Osprey "Force on Force" modern wargamming rule book, this is about £25 as well so,i am really looking forward to this as well.

Must admit i know nothing about the "Hammers Slammers universe" and do not fancy buying all the books. Now i am tempted by the "Traveller" role playing game,as this is one i never owned (believe it or not !!) will think about this one though (for about 5 seconds ha ha ha ha....)

Cheers every one your mate Tony:)

Best of Luck with it Tony - used to play a lot of traveller way, way back. you need a core of 5 or 6 players for it to work well. Should be able to pick up rules on "e-bay" or similar sites. Like all these things you can end up with a mini library of books on each system... and there are quite a few different "era" rules within the Traveller set up.

All the best,

Slade

Slade thank you for the links, excellcent am checking and reading through them all.Sorry for such a late reply,i have been ever so tired after work:(.

I may just get the rule book by Mongoose, but am wary of falling into the "role playing trap" of another source book here another there!!.So will think this one through. But many thanks again:)

Finally decided "not" to spend £30 on the "Traveller" RPG,instead i will be just downloading "Craigs "FREE i repeat "FREE" fubar system HOORAY !! HOORAY !!.

Also the fact that i spent £120 0n 3 PS3 games does not help ha ha ha ha....i got "Portal 2" "Socom Special forces" and "Little big planet 2" ha ha ha ha..the fact i could not bother to walk down to town helped ha ha ha ha...

Also found this week that "UHU" glues cork tiles hooray, hooray!!.Thank you for the hard work Slade, but the sheer number of traveller add ons is really to tempting and when i buy i have to buy them all.

Anyway lovely weather here,i have a few days off work i have plenty of figures and modeling gear around me,a cup of coffee in my hands HOORAY!! "COULD NOT BE MORE HAPPY".

Cheers all your mate as always tony:).

P.S Sorry to be so lazy will send the figures this week:)
