Gents,

I've just updated the FUBAR page on the blog with everything we, the Forge of War development group, have produced so far. So I thought I'd bring my friends here up to date.

Since their release in 2010 we have had over 3,500 downloads of the core rules and many more for the variant rules and force supplements. Over 400 hobbyists have become members fo the Forge of War Yahoo! Group, most of them looking for new Forge and FUBAR supplements.

These rules are simple to learn (usually after about 15 minutes of play) yet have enough tactical complexity to give challenging and fun games.

And the work has only just begun. We have ideas coming in all the time for supplements and at least three or four in progress. If you want to know more come over to the Forge of War Yahoo Group and have a look.

The Games Shed Blog is now carrying the complete, current range of FUBAR rules, variants and force supplements including:

  • FUBAR Core Rules 3.0, in English, French and Spanish.
  • Alternate Morale Rules.

SciFi Supplements:

  • Generic SciFi, covering a range of films from Terminator to Predator and Aliens.
  • Stargate One, based on the original TV Series.
  • Stargate 1895, based on the idea that the British found the Stargate in the Victorian era.
  • Star Wars, the original three feature films.
  • Star Wars, the Clone Wars.
  • In addition we have a range of beautiful unit reference cards for each troop type, as well as chits for the Battle of Hoth.
  • Starship Troopers, including unit cards for the Bugs and MI Troopers.
  • Victorian Sci-Fi, for those of you that like weird science in the 19th century.
  • Warhammer 40K, in two versions, one stripped down and one more detailed.
  • Warzone.
  • Hammer's Slammers.
  • Imperial Commander.
  • 15mm Sci-Fi for Khurasan Miniatures.
  • 15mm Sci-Fi for Rebel Minis.
  • Grav Armour, For use with 15mm SciFi AFV's such as those produced by Top Gun Marketing and other manufacturers.
  • Micro FUBAR, for 6mm ciFi enthusiasts.

Modern Supplements.

  • Vietnam, with lists for USMC and VC/NVA forces.
  • WW2, with lists for the common types of Infantry Platoons of all nations.
  • Afghanistan, with lists for ISAF and the Taliban and a set of missions.
  • Something Wicked this way comes. Rules for Vampires, Zombies and townsfolk in a small mid-west American town.

And there is more in the pipeline...

Craig.

Is that all?

You've been busy. I'm glad to see it's popular judging by some responses on other forums.

If there's any genre you'd like a version of FUBAR for just let me know.
