Now that this year is coming to an end quickly!!,i am glad that i have moved on in alot of things.Everything i wanted to do i have done and feel alot better for it.Wether i still have a job this time next year is debatable, with the increase in university fees and contracts beening limited to 20 hours,i will see what the future holds.I will not worry though as i have alot to be thankful for anyway.

By staying out of wargames emporium(i made one visit for superglue and thats when i picked up the art book) and just using Antics rather than 2 shops,i do not feel so overwhelmed by Antics and theres enough there for me to keep me happy.

I bought some italerai/zeveda anicents and a airfix scimitar tank kit,and was very happy with them:D.Also i am working in foamboard and building,i am staying with 1/72 figures and vehicles. So for me the new year looks brighter on that front, maybe the odd 28mm plastic figure set HOORAY!!.

I am so glad to have sorted everything and moved on and to what made me happy when i was young and did have to worry about life in general,ie gas/electricty/rent.Also dumping some of my "Art of" books and keeping my more practical book collection "how to make" and my mutant chronicles books.HOORAY!!:D.

So i am sorted and the less said the better, the new year will see more model making and me beening more happy

with the little i buy and have. But the most exciting/best thing to look forward to is the amount of stunning work that will be posted on "Matakishis tea house" HOORAY:D.

I also bought myself "The Clone Wars Season 2" and the "Pacific" to go with my band of brothers blu-ray set. Both are brilliant and i highly recommened them.

Cheers all :DTony:D

It seems like you're sorted Tony.

Personally I'm running out of time this year. I managed to get the first Babatundean miniature released and more are on the way but it takes a huge amount of time to sort out.

I need to format some articles for the Tea House that are waiting for inclusion but haven't managed to so far. I don't mind if my stuff is waiting around but articles that others have been kind enough to write should really go up sooner. Unfortunately they are the ones that require the most work to get ready.

I'm behind on my painting- only 4 figures so far this month but that's not too bad as the total for the year is still good. (It could be better though).

I have managed to sell off some old projects that were clogging up my space and traffic to the site has increased by around 30% in the second half of the year, currently running at around 2000 visitors a day so all is not doom and gloom :)

I'm planning projects for the new year and have started bits and bobs for some of them. Pulp Sci Fi, Zombies and more for Babatunde are on the horizon.

Onwards and upwards!

2000 visitors a day isn't shabby at all. Glad to hear it.

Hobby-wise, I'm just starting up again after a 6 month hiatus. Got the STALKER project going, which in turn calls attention to loose ends on the shelves and under the table. Time to cull the herd. Again.

I am quite inspired about the STALEKR stuff however. Something about those games resonates with me and it's an interesting challenge to translate it to the tabletop.

Must admit i am excited about seeing your "Stalker" project Dentatus:D.I had stalker for the pc and hopefully its coming out on the xbox 360/PS3.

At the moment i am playing through "Metro 2033/Fallout 3/fallout vegas and borderlands" which i think is brilliant!!:D.

Same again Dentatus theirs something that resonates with me as well about this genre:Di think its because its not so restricted as say WW2/NAPS/ANICENTS,you can add anyhting you want and no can argue with you:DHOORAY!!.

Many thanks for the info Paul, will try to get something to you soon:DHOORAY!!

Cheers all your mate as always Tony:D

Yup Grimsmas is coming and my bank account is emptying... :(

It's been a funny old year with a set of rules I wrote in about an hour taking off and spawning dozens of versions and supplements. There are even some people translating them into French, German and Spanish now...

With a new job I have much less time to game, paint or model, but one of my figures my boy borrowed to attend a GW Shop event is now sitting in their display cabinet (an Ork Warboss), even though it is broken.

Ah well, my project list is longer than ever and I can see no reason not to beaver away at it especially with good people like you lot to share it with :D

Keep up the good work one and all!

I hear what you're saying about the creative latitude of the genre, but there's something about the mood and pace of the STALKER series that draws me in. (Gosh, that sounds geeky)

Maybe I'm at that age where the amphetamine- fueled run & gun with death metal soundtrack doesn't work for me.  (Damn kids these days...)

I'm also looking forward to Deus Ex- Human Revolution
