Oh yes, did I mention the new one-page roleplaying rules I've written as well? The discipline of getting your entire ruleset onto a single page of A4/Letter is really quite seductive.

The core set is called Dead Simple and covers the standard D&D fantasy genre. I've also done a basic SF version called Blaster, and a version set in the English Reformation called Blood & Faith.

At the moment these are on the Forge of War Yahoo! group and on my blog:

Okey-dokey, another week in bootiful Belgium and I'm starting to understand why the Hitchhikers' Guide to the Galaxy described the word 'Belgium' as the most profane in the universe.

One advantage though to being sequestered in a hotel in a boring country is that I get time to write.  If you pop over to my blog you'll find that I have uploaded three, one-page, supplements to the Dead Simple fantasy RPG ruleset.

These are the Games Masters Guide in one page  - see I even make Microlite D20 look needlessly wordy ;) - a guide to building dungeons and Loot! - the one page treasure guide.

On the block are a swarm of others... so watch that space.

The next supplement - almost finished, will be Denizens of the Dark, featuring stat's and descriptions for Dwarven Miners, Goblins, Kobolds and Orcs.

This will support the first Adventure supplement - The Tomb of St. Magnus Part 1, The Silver Psalter, a small introductory dungeon. This takes up, you guessed it, one page. However, that doesn't include the map, so I'm experimenting in making the map sit under the words, like a watermark...

The Village of Grobblet will quickly follow, giving the players a base for their characters.

I'm also working on a treat for Warhammer 40K players, a one page version of the 'Narrative Skirmish' game, Inquisitor. I've done the one page basic rules, including character generation for an Inquisition Investigation team, and am halfway through The Enemies of the Imperium supplement.

I love the one page system because it allow my butterfly brain to flutter all over the place and still produce something of worth. :D

By the way Tony, your prize is a free set of rules. Pick any rules on my blog and you can have them for absolutely nothing! Never say I'm not a man of my word. ;)

Cheers,

Craig.

A new modern one page supplement for Dead Simple has just been uploaded to my blog: Nasty, Brutish & Short - Roleplaying Goblins in the 21st Century.

It is accompanied by a one page supplement detailing the setting.

Ever want to hunt Chaos through the grim streets of a Warhammer 40K hive? Or face foul Xenos cults in the service of the Emperor. Well now you can...

On the Forge of War & Blue Pentangle Yahoo Grous are two, one page Dead Simple releases:

  1. Dead Simple Inquisitor - so you can create and roleplay being members of an Inquisitor's elite investigation and elimination team, and
  2. Enemies of the Imperium - rules for Chaos & Xenos Cults, as well as descriptions of the forces of the corrupt and greedy that undermine the Imperium and are deserving of the Inquisition's 'mercy'.

Once they've been pored over by my writing and development team I'll release them on the blog.
