Well today we have had some depressing news at work,we have been "restructured" and "regraded" so we/i am taking a pay cut!!.So i am about £20 worse off a week,as we are at the moment paid weekly. Now for me this is not to bad as i have no family to support.

Its not to bad though as i had already stopped buying "wargames illustrated" and stopped buying metal figures of all scales,

my change to plastics was very timely i suppose. Its fortunate that they did not cut our hours or start paying us monthly.I suppose this is for a future date.

Alot of people at work were very angry and upset (tear gas was thrown/ruber bullets/punch ups very ugly!!) ha ha ha,sorry, its going to be along week i think!!.I am just happy my job is secure and i love my job (washing out toilets and mopping),very tired at the moment, but i have next week off work and i am going to start decorating my flat:).

Get rid of the old and move on a bit,"if" anyone is intrested in the metals i have i will write up a list and put it on the market place,i will take a fiver for each item listed,i just wanna get rid of them all.Or any box of italeria/ceasar plastics, the space would useful as well.

Feeling depressed and "kinda not here" need to sleep abit really, also the foam board ruins i am working are turning out fine as well.

Cheers all your mate tony:dry:.

Sorry to hear about your trials and tribulations Tony.

I got laid off at Christmas but have just managed to get another job.  I'm not buying anything at the moment, just working my way slowly through all the unbuilt and unpainted stuff - should take me about three years at the present rate :D

One thing I am doing is downloading papercraft models and building them.

I have seen the papercraft models, they are brilliant:).Really its all you need "a representation" of your character/army/vehicles.Same with the "worldworks" plans and models,it seems to be the future, paper will be the best last hope for wargamming ha ha ha...i know i will invest in some of these as the foam card i use is brilliant stuff hooray!! it goes great with plastics hooray!!.

One good thing is john at wargames has offered to take all my metals, hooray hes going to work out a price then give me either cash or plastics/ today i got 2 boxes of ceasar miniatures for a bag of old GW figures. What i have left i am going to list up on the market place, will do that thursday after taking down to wargames everything i do not want:).

Work has quieted down anyway and everybody is accepting the situation,we have no other choice to be hoest, but things will balance out.

Same here Craig, will work through the piles of plastic i have now ha ha ha....

By the way your avatar is brilliant ha ha ha...one of the best films ever made ha ha

i think we share the same sense of humour ha ha ha....

(Blessed are the cheesemakers? no dear, hes refering to any maker of dairy produce) absolute brilliance,

(If he calls me "big nose" one more time) ha ha ha stunning,

cheers all your mate :)tony:)

"He's not the Messiah, he's a very naughty boy!"

I use that Avatar Tony because that is often how I feel :D

As for papercraft, there is so much good stuff out there that is absolutely free - such as at the Yahoo Group 'BWC Archive'.  Hundreds of designs especially for W40K.

I am going to begin experimenting soon with a free source of plasticard... did any of you get those big plastic boxes of crackers for cheese over Xmas.  We got two. Previously I have used these surprisingly robust boxes as Tank/Vehicle carriers.

Now though I am looking at those big square sheets of thin plastic they are made up of and thinking that I could create some card craft vehicles in plastic...  I am such a cheapskate

Yep, got all those, and many more besides - I am an inveterate link hunter :)

I really should set up a link thread here for papercraft - in fact I will this weekend, thanks for the nudge.
