Already planning what to do next year. It's been a week since BLAM 09 which was (as last year) a fantastic weekend and has left me brimming with new enthusiasm yet again.

My African game was such good fun that I've decided to add to it with some African warlord forces I ordered them from The Assault Group as soon as I returned from BLAM. Sadly the postal strike has prevented them from arriving yet. I also plan to order some Chiltern Vietnam Americans to add to the mercenaries, they match well wih the britannia figures I'm already using.

I've also ordered some helicopters from an Ebayer in the USA, one of which will be used to ferry my mercenaries around.

I also plan to paint the modern Assault group Afghans I bought last year (or the year before, I forget). I've bought some modern Brits to face off against them (which have arrived except the vehicles which are coming from S&S Models). I hope to make some terrain for this too; houses with compounds probably and some crop fields with irrigation ditches probably.

On a different tack I hope to get the Twilight set done that was scheduled for this year but got edged out for several reasons. I've also found a renewed interst in pulp sci fi so I want to make some progress there too.

For the remainder of this year I will plug away at my napoleonics (there's a naval shore party on the painting desk at the moment)  and my saucer People project with the odd foray into more moderns. I've just finished some Britannia SWAT figures, photos soon once the parts to finish the vehicles arrive.

Anyone else got any plans...?

2010 for me,

What i have deceided to do is stay with "1/72 soft plastics" ancient/modern.As there are some brilliant figure companies out there "Ceasar/Hat/italerai/revell",also some of the new hard plastics "warlord games/victrix".

I really need to sort out my work table and set up a proper working area, aslo be more determined to finish off a project.

For me plastics are cheaper and seem more fun than heavy metal figures, and the amount i can swap and change is superb. As i said in an earlier post i will be supporting my local Antics/wargames emporium rather than on line ordering.

I will trading my GW metals in for more soft plastics at the wargames emporium, and listing all the metals i have on the buying/swapping board. To be honest i will take a box of any soft plastics/1/72 vehicles for them rather than money.

I will make more and work more and really enjoy 2010.Thank you for reading tony:)

Also i would like too thank Paul for all his hard work in keeping this site going because without him i think the internet would be a sadder place.

I have a few project ideas that I am working on in 2009-2010.

This year I completed all my Necromunda gangs over the Summer, so that is behind me.  I hope to finish up my Doctor Who minis (Black Tree and Heresy) by the end of the year as well.  After that I will continue dinking at my 28mm Modern minis, vehicles and buildings (20 buildings assembled, 10 primed, 1 painted).  It seems like an ever evolving project.

For 2010 I plan to start in earnest on my Fallout/Wasteland Post Apocalyptic project. My goal is to have a number of different factions and a few locations based on the popular Fallout/Wasteland computer games. I am excited about the release of Atomic Cafe 1957 and plan to pick up a number of those minis for the project as well. Thats what I got for 2010.

Hobby-wise, I'm going to devote time and attention to my 6mm FWC stuff. I've got three forces in various states of completion, the latest of which is from PlasmaBlast. (They are nice, BTW)
